PUFFY EYES AND DARK CIRCLE

Puffy eyes and dark circles are a common problem, it’s also something to do with a luck of blood circulation around the eye area. When you woke up you are usually puffier that’s because of the fluid accommodated under your eyes, but what we can do about it?

WHAT IS REAL CAUSE?

With ageing, the tissues around your eyes, including some of the muscles supporting your eyelids, weaken. Normal fat that helps support the eyes can then move into lower eyelids, causing the lids to appear puffy. Fluid also may accumulate in the space below your eyes, adding to the swelling. Bags under eyes are usually a cosmetic concern and rarely a sign of serious underlying medical condition. But for some women and men it can cause self-esteem issue.

CAUSES OF PUFFY EYES – REALISTIC SOLUTION

Sleep position

Keeping your head flat while you sleep allows fluid to collect around your eyes. Try sleeping with your head slightly elevated, this can help prevent fluid retention in the eye area. When you wake up try a gentle fingertip massage around the eye area to help reduce puffiness. I can’t stress enough how important to have your beauty sleep minimum of 7-8 hours.

Stay hydrated

Drinking plenty of water will not just help your body get rid of all toxins but it will keep your skin nice and hydrated.

Diet

Making sure you eat a healthy, balanced diet containing vital vitamins and minerals could reduce oily skin. On the other hand, consuming oily, greasy foods are not only bad for your health but may also be contributing to the causes of your oily complexion. Drink plenty of water! Stay hydrated.

Dry skin

Dryness around the eye area can cause sensitivity and a crepey appearance, contributing to puffy eyes and making them look wrinkled and tired. A hydrating moisturizer and antioxidants will keep skin hydrated, soft, and smooth.

Wear sunscreen

Sun damage from years of unprotected sun exposure leads to excess pigmentation showing through the skin around the eyes.

Harsh ingredients

Using harsh or skin aggravating ingredients- including- paraben, fragrances, silicon’s and other harsh chemicals around the eyes. Choose natural ingredients instead and do the patch test before applying

AŪXACANN DIY PRESSURE POINTS MASSAGE

Work the pressure points in your brow for a few seconds before sweeping your fingers from the inside corner of your eye outward. This helps drain that area that’s inflamed. Then tap at your sinuses using two fingers on each hand, starting on either side of your nose, and working outward. You may even feel fluid moving in this area. It’s all about moving fluid, so you may also want to gently massage the lymph nodes in your neck. Work in a downward motion, away from your face. Continue for about 3 minutes and repeat as needed.
